Our holiday in Ducks Folley

We have just returned from our weeks stay and we can not say enough about this property! It was perfect, the interior is amazing, the beds we're comfy with very high quality bedding and mattresses! The 5 bathrooms we're handy as we had 8 people staying! There was a leak in the en suite upstairs however after contacting the property manager Lisa, within 20minutes someone had come out to check it for us! The main sitting room was perfect for the children to have their own space, play games, watching one of the many DVDs available! The area closest to the kitchen was we're the adults sat mostly, we would chat, play games, use the free wifi whilst keeping warm from the log fire! The kitchen was to a very high standard, every utensil you could want, a modern oven, microwave, and hob! The main table sat 8 which meant we could all have brekkie and dinner together! The utility room was spacious, well equipped and brilliant to store 8 coats and shoes! The grounds we're beautiful, golf course in your doorstep, amble space for the children to run around and safe for our little dodgy to walk around! All in all, we absolutely loved staying here and we are going to book it again for next year!

Exceeded Expectations

The house is stunning and I cannot fault one thing. The property was perfect for our group - 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. The yard was completely fenced in and the house was at the end of a lane, so both the dog and toddler got to experience some contained freedom ;) The house was beautifully decorated and had more than enough space, tons of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. We only stayed 3 nights but I would love to return for a longer stay. We also had beautiful sunny weather which was perfect for exploring the IoW. We had the pleasure to meet the owner who was also lovely and welcoming. When we travel with our dog we often do not get to stay in such lovely homes so it was a real treat. Thank you for a fabulous weekend!

Isle of Wight Challenge week

Myself, my husband, stepdaughter and two friends stayed as three of us were taking part in the IoW coastal walk over Bank Holiday week. Once the walk was completed the three of them left to go back to work and my two daughters and baby granddaughter joined us for the rest of the week. The property was lovely, it had everything we needed and loads of space for us all and our dog! The location is ideal as it feels remote, has no passing traffic as it is at the end of a lane and yet it is within easy walking or driving distance of the coast. We walked to Seaview, St Helens and Bembridge over fields and on the coastal path. I'd happily return with family or a group of friends, it's my idea of a great holiday home.

Summer at Ducks Folly

Great location for holidaying with your dog - very pleasant walks on your doorstep with views out to sea. We were able to walk from the lovely barn conversion to the coast and have lunch at various dog friendly pubs and restaurants. Bed was incredibly comfortable! Good places to eat and shop in Ryde, Seaview, St. Helens, Bembridge... Tesco, fast food and golf a few minutes drive away if needed. We'll be back! Many thanks Blue Chip.

Great holiday

There was a collective "Wow" as we entered Duck's Folly, from the youngest to oldest member of our party. The place was everything and more of what we could want. Everything had been thought of,except, possibly a removable stair gate. The beds were extremely comfortable, i even slept well the first night, unheard of. None of us wanted to leave, the 6 year old was sobbing as we locked the door to catch the ferry. Thanks Lisa and Blue Chip and all involved with Duck's Folly for a great holiday. We would all go back and would recommend to anyone going to the Isle of Wight.
