Amazon World is by far the most exotic Isle of Wight attraction. The zoo park is a relaxing rainforest experience, with the chance to see over 200 species of animal as you explore. The zoo park is home to hundreds of rare breeds and exotic species, so it's a place to see quirky creatures and everything from the weird to the wonderful.
There are so many species in the park that even the staff are certain how many there are, but when they last counted there were more than two hundred. Amazon World Zoo Park houses primates, penguins, parrots, Kinkajou (we’re not sure either!) and many more unusual animals from around the world.
It's always rewarding to see the kids learning while they enjoy a day out, and the keepers' talks around the park enable them to find out everything there is to know about the animals. Look out for displays during your visit too, as they're a great way to see the animals. The whole attraction is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and it’s open everyday from 10am.
