Description

33 Marinus Apartments is in an enviable location overlooking Cowes harbour and out to sea and is within walking distance of Cowes town centre.

33 Marinus Apartments is situated on the third floor.  The apartment is well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Externally, the balcony can be accessed from the living area and boasts spectacular views over the marina.

The Marinus Apartments are ideally located for sailing enthusiasts. Cowes has been seen as a home for international yacht racing since the founding of the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1815. The town gives its name to the world's oldest regular regatta, Cowes Week, which occurs annually in the first week of August. Later on in the summer, powerboat races are held.

Famed for its sailing events, yachtsmen from across the world make Cowes their Mecca. But it remains a small town with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The pedestrianised high street is full of interesting boutiques, art galleries, shops and a selection of restaurants and pubs.

Room with a view

Everything was so perfect, it was a perfect view of all the boats and cruise liners going in and out of Southampton. Cowes it'self was exceptional with lots of independent shops as well as some chains. We spent quite a bit of time on the chain ferry (which we could see from our apartment) going to and from the other part of Cowes it was heavenly We wanted to stay on and I think next time it has to be two weeks. Perfect holiday thank you.

Well positioned for entertainment with excellent view of the harbour

I was issued a contact number prior to departure which proved very useful for getting directions and general information. The flat was clean and well appointed with all you could need. The dinning table was positioned so you could enjoy the views from inside as well as the nice balcony. The shops and bars of East Cowes were literally only five minutes away and proved to provide excellent shopping and entertainment. There is a Sainsbury near by to help with self catering. The Flat has its own marked parking space is on the third floor service by a lift.

Fabulous Apartment in a great location

This lovely apartment is in a great position to explore the whole island whilst being able to walk easily to some fantastic restaurants, bars, coffee shops and local amenities. The apartment was very clean and tidy with a lovely comfy bed. It's also very light and airy with amazing views across the harbour area and a the Solent. The small balcony was perfect for an afternoon tea or glass of wine - perfect !

Best Ever Island stay

The apartment was lovely, light, bright, airy with double aspects all round . It fully lived up to its description and provided everything one could possibly need. Watching the boats go by from our balcony was included but enhanced by a glass or three of cold pinot.
