Great accommodation in a fantastic location!

Accommodation was excellent, well cleaned and ready for our arrival. The owner was there to greet us on arrival with the keys and showed us around. She was pleasant and helpful then left us to it for the whole weekend, with a contact number for her in case we needed it. Beautiful views from the house, both the harbour and sea at the front and the water meadows at the back. Lovely walk to the Baywatch cafe for breakfast over the old sea wall. Good location for travelling out to other island sites, but also good for walking around the area with lots to see and do nearby. The only downside was that we didn't book for longer!

Marina View, Bembrdige

An ideal house for our holiday. This is our third visit to Bembridge and we have become very fond of the village. The week has just flown by but we have all enjoyed it immensely so thank you for providing such a great location in which to relax. Look forward to visiting again. Tackt-Isle Adventures across the way is highly recommended. Great fun paddle boarding and bike hire is great for exploring the many coastal paths around the Island.

Marina View, Bembrdige

We love this house and it works very well for grandparents and 2nd family. The weather was good despite awful forecasts but too windy for kayaking. Found lots to do - steam train was a hit with all. We cycled and we visited Quarr Abbey. Our grandson loved the Donkey Sanctuary. We had a good mooch around the shops in Cowes. So something for all. Places to eat - The Vine is good value, huge portions at the Carb & Lobster and a fun night at The Shed – they had excellent Tapas. This is a beautifully kept well equipped house. Thank you Sara for the eggs and beans.

Although some parts of the house are dated, overall we would recommend Marina view to anyone. The views from the front and rear of the house are amazing and the top floor living space is second to none.Sara was really helpful before and during our stay.

Marina View, Bembrdige

A lovely house with great views from every window. Everything we wanted for a family break. Bembridge is a lovely place to stay. Last time we were in the Isle of Wight was about 20 years ago when the kids were small, they loved it then and loved it now. House really made us feel at home, thanks for sharing it with us. Hope to come back again soon.

What a wonderful week we have had! We came here as children from a very young age and after a 15 year break we have finally managed to co-ordinate diaries and return together. This house has provided the perfect place for us to descend on most! It was everything we could have wanted, needed (fabulously stocked kitchen, even fresh eggs, thank you!) and the views were spectacular! Many an evening was spent supping bubbly overlooking the harbour, so peaceful and picturesque. We are leaving refreshed, happy, browner (such a scorcher of a week) and looking forward to our next stay already!

Marina View

Lovely holiday weather, brilliant after a dodgy start. House very well equipped and comfortable. We are three generations and all of us have become much fitter after always ending up in the lovely top sitting room. Grandchildren enjoyed the idea of the decks. We walked to most of the local restaurants and enjoyed them all. Even our 4 year old made the Old Village Inn and back. We stumbled upon a regatta at Seaview and were amazed when the whole of Bembridge Beach stood up and started walking to the fort. It looked like something of a horror film. Apparently it only happens 4 times in a year! Had a great time!

Lovely house and fabulous location

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The views were lovely both front and back with plenty to watch from the two balconies. We were met by the owner on arrival who showed us around and gave us some tips for eateries etc.

Thank you to the fresh flowers and eggs and the warm welcome to your beautiful house with the most wonderful views. We have all loved staying here. We all wish we had come for two weeks not just one. Lots to do. Great to be able to walk to the beach across the causeway. George and Charlie had a great day out kayaking with Tackt-Isle. We hope to be back.

The welcome we got from the owner was excellent. The location was also very good with a nice outlook over the marina. Plenty of utensils and the house were clean and tidy. The top bedroom was out of this world where a couple could be on their own away from the rest of the group should they wish apart from cooking should they wish to cook their own meals.

We have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your house, with fantastic views front and back. The top floor is by far the best room in the house. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Thank you for your warm welcome.

Our youngest family member with us was 4 years old and our oldest family member with us was 88! (Luckily they've both easily amused.) The house was a great size for all 8 of us and we even had wonderful views just sitting down to dinner. Most days were spent at Ryde beach but we would recommend a walk across the Duver and to the marshes across the road to see the wildlife. We loved staying here and are already looking forward to planning a return trip.

Thank you so much Sara for all your help over the weekend. This is our first visit to Bembridge and we all fell in love with the village. We strongly recommend the Crab & Lobster for fish lovers and Lu Chan Chinese in the village is a must. As for the house, WOW what views from every window. Our only disappointment was we only had a weekend here. We are looking forward to the next visit.
