Weston-super-Mare has one of the longest and naturally occurring beaches in the UK, enjoying golden sands and miles of open space. Throughout the summer there are endless beach related events and activities that can be enjoyed, ranging from sandcastle competitions to sand sculpting and kite surfing championships. Add to this a great range of outdoor experiences such as seafront steam trains and donkey rides and Weston-super-Mare has a fabulous selection of fare weather facilities.
Of course, it does occasionally rain, and so it’s a good job that Weston-super-Mare is blessed with a wide range of undercover attractions including the world's largest dedicated Helicopter Museum, the fascinating SeaQuarium, and the North Somerset Museum. Alongside cinemas, and regular events held at the Winter Gardens and the Playhouse Theatre, there’s plenty to keep visitor of entertained, whatever the weather.
And as if that weren’t enough Weston-super-Mare is also perfectly situated for a host of day trips to the architecturally impressive and historically fascinating Cities of Wells, Bristol, Bath, or to stunning countryside which includes local features such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Caves and the Mendip and Quantock Hills.

Full Property Description
Chestnut Cottage is a one bedroom property located in the village of Kewstoke on the edge of the traditional seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare. The village has a pub, bakery and a shop for essential groceries.
For a greater selection, Weston-Super-Mare is only three miles away and benefits from many shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The town boasts a wide expanse of safe sandy beach complete with Grand pier, donkey rides and the opportunity to try several water sports.There are so many things to do in the area to satisfy all ages and tastes from taking a ride on the observation wheel situated on the seafront, visiting the SeaQuarium or even the world’s largest Helicopter museum.
Please note: all guests must be over the age of 18.
This property can only accommodate bookings made Saturday- Saturday.

Property resources
The cottage is in a quiet village location about a mile from Weston Super Mare and only a short drive away from the M5 motorway making it a good location for visiting Somerset and the surrounding area. The cottage is clean, modern and well equipped. The owners live next door in a neighbouring cottage and were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others and would stay again. September 2011.Chestnut cottage is very well equipped, all kitchen accessories including microwave, toaster, fridge, cooker, tea towels, plates, cutlery etc. Bathroom has towels, hand soap etc. Living room with tv, dvd player, cd player and playstation. Lovely bedroom, spare room has hairdryer and lovely touch of face masks and hand creams for the ladies! All in all a lovely cottage with lovely helpful owners. July 2011. - Location Map
