Ellington Court is a new development of beautiful, contemporary apartments. Set in the heart of Torquay, the apartments are finished to an extremely high specification with exceptional attention to detail and are ideally situated for exploring Torquay with its award winning beaches.
Torquay is home to an array of popular attractions, many of which are within short walking distance, including the marine themed Living Coasts. Other attractions in the town include the pre-historic caves at Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and a step back in time at Bygones. If you have a head for heights then take a flight on the Hi-Flyer balloon offering unrivalled panoramic views of the area.
Torquay is also the birth place of the world famous crime writer Agatha Christie, and many guests of Blue Chip's Torquay holiday cottages and apartments follow in her footsteps along the Agatha Christie Mile and discover what inspired her. For those in search of some tranquillity then Cockington Country Parks offers miles of woodland and parkland to explore, as well as traditional Devon cottages and buildings.
Beyond Torquay there are regular bus and train services to Plymouth and Exeter, with the train station only a 15 minute walk away. Bluechip Holidays were strongly recommended to us by a trusted friend - and how right he turned out to be. From the very first interaction with the company, to leaving the accommodation on our final day, the whole experience was absolutely brilliant. The quality of the accommodation is first class - how anyone would want to stay in a hotel when this level of accommodation is available, at less cost than a good hotel, is beyond me. There was simply nothing that the apartment lacked and the view across Torquay Bay was just beautiful. If you are prepared to face the challenge of walking up and down the hills of Torquay then this apartment is the place for you. And if you are not but you are taking the car, then it's still no problem whatsoever. The whole online booking experience was outstanding and the response to a couple of queries I had was faultless. A Great company to deal with - A Great place to stay. Next time I am going to the South West, I will not waste any time even looking for another Holiday Company. Thank you Bluechip.
