A nice property in the heart of Torquay. There is no parking available which is unfortunate. The apartment block is well maintained and the apartments of a good standard. The views are excellent and there is always a lot going on. The only downsides with Queen's Quay is that there is a 24 hour subway store next to it, which means that there is a significant noise problem throughout the night meaning you might have to sleep in another room not so close to the front. On a negative side, the apartment facilities (such as the kitchen) are very basic with no teatowels supplied and minimal utensils. Lighting is good but difficult to operate. August 2011.Apartment excellent. Very central. 3 balconies. Very clean inside. Everything you need. Downside!! Friday, Saturday bedlam outside right through the night, with stag parties, and hen parties. All pubs stay open mostly all night. Can't open windows during the night because of the noise. When we saw apt on the internet, we didn't realise that the buses all go into bays right in front of apt, so although the balconies are great, it's very noisy .Apart from that we had a lovely holiday as its so central for everything else.
