Paignton has a wide range of great activities fo children of all ages, from penny arcades on the pier to the zoo – recently ranked as one of the Daily Telegraph’s top 50 days out. The beaches at Preston, Paignton centre and Goodrington offer good sandcastle building conditions while the more adventurous can discover hidden beaches along this stretch of coast.
The centre has level access to the seafront or explore the harbour to find restaurants and the chance to try some watersports. Above the harbour lies Roundham Point where gardens provide a panoramic view of The English Riviera with Torquay to the left and Brixham to the right.

Full Property Description
Red Sands is a spacious ground floor apartment located just off the Green in the traditional seaside resort of Paignton.
The property is newly refurbished and well equipped, with a high level of attention to detail evident throughout the property. All rooms are tastefully decorated in neutral colours and oak flooring runs throughout creating a homely feel. The property boasts a sun room opening out on to the patio offering the ideal environment for a quiet read in the sun. The garden features a table, chairs and a barbecue for al fresco dining.
The apartment is situated in a predominantly flat position offering easy access to the amenities of the town, so you may wish to abandon your car in the designated parking space for the week as there is no need to drive.The property just a minutes’ walk from Paignton seafront where you can take in the true splendour of the location and take a stroll out onto Paignton Pier and along the esplanade.
Whilst staying in Paignton, a visit to Paignton Zoo is a must whilst Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway takes passengers on a scenic railway journey along the picturesque coast and River Dart. For those in search of a little culture then spend time visiting the grounds of Oldway Mansion or walk around the old Paignton town.
During the evening you can take in performance at the Palace Theatre or just walk across the road to the Apollo Cinema. For a gastronomic treat head to one of the many restaurants in the area offering local produce including fresh seafood landed nearby in Brixham.This property is Saturday change over although short breaks are permitted outside of July and August, subject to a minimum stay of 5 nights.
