The South West Coastal Path winds round the rugged coast from Torbay, down the steep streets of Kingswear, across the ferry and through the heart of Dartmouth into the picturesque countryside and impressive coastline of the South Hams. These elegant yachting towns, situated on either side of the River Dart, provide the perfect base for exploring on land or on water, with the open sea a short sail up the estuary and the tranquil charms of the River Dart in the other direction.
The streets of Dartmouth are busy throughout the year with tourists and locals enjoying café society and excellent shopping. Quiet Kingswear provides the perfect base for those seeking peace and quiet with the convenience of Dartmouth only five minutes across the water.

Full Property Description
Wayside forms part of a large period property with fabulous panoramic views over the River Dart to Dartmouth and the Royal Naval College.
Situated in the peaceful village of Kingswear, this fabulous four bedroom property is perfect for a relaxing family break. PLEASE NOTE: Guests should note that this property is accessed by 39 steps with hand rail.
Located just a short walk away is the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and, needless to say, the foot and car ferries that will take you over to Dartmouth and the South Hams.
This property is ideal for families with plenty of nearby children's activities eg. crabbing from the nearby beach, steam train to Paignton and family friendly blue flag beaches. There are excellent local transport links meaning once you're here there's no need to use the car!
Kingswear Village Stores will do deliveries free of charge to Blue Chip properties located in Kingswear. They stock a good range of general produce in addition to cider, fruit, vegetables and meat all of which are locally sourced. If you would like to arrange for a delivery for your arrival day or during your stay please call them on 01803 752291. Payment is by cash or cheque on delivery and all orders must be placed in 48 hours advance. Deliveries are available Mon – Sat 7am – 6pm, unfortunately there are no deliveries on a Sunday.
This property offers two stair gates, travel cot (bedding not provided) and a highchair free of charge.
Please note: Wayside is currently undergoing full refurbishment that will be completed by 31st March 2012, new images to follow.

- Sink unit, washing machine and dryer in separate utility area.
- Full utensils and accessories including microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere.

- Furnished with a king-size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, double wardrobe with 2 drawers and a 3 drawer chest.
- En-suite comprises a shower cubicle, wash basin, WC. and heated towel rail.

- Stunning views across the River Dart to Dartmouth.
- Furnished with 'Zip & Link' beds (can be arranged as a king-size or twin beds, please request when booking), bedside cabinet, double wardrobe and dressing table with 6 drawers and stool.

- Furnished with bunk beds, single wardrobe with mirrored door, bedside cabinet and lamp.
- Additional storage provided by 3 drawer chest on landing.

- Situated on the lower ground floor.
- Patio doors opening out to access path.
- Furnished with twin motorized adjustable beds made up as doubles, chest of drawers, wardrobe with mirrored door and dressing table.
