Full Property Description

The Old Bakehouse is a converted and fully refurbished four bedroom house situated in the town of Cowes just 400 yards from the town centre and nearby harbour.

Internally, this property, which is set over four floors, offers a contemporary and open plan kitchen/dining area. Externally, guests can enjoy the south facing decked area and garden to the rear of the property.

The Old Bakehouse within a short distance from the family friendly shingle beach and Cowes town centre. The pedestrianised high street is full of interesting boutiques, art galleries, shops and a selection of restaurants and pubs. Cowes has been seen as a home for international yacht racing since the founding of the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1815. The town gives its name to the world's oldest regular regatta, Cowes Week, which occurs annually in the first week of August. Later on in the summer, powerboat races are held.

Famed for its sailing events, yachtsmen from across the world make Cowes their Mecca. But it remains a small town with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

  • Features a range cooker with five burner gas hob, American-style stainless steel fridge freezer with integrated wine cooler, integrated dishwasher and a washer dryer.
  • Full range of utensils and appliances including a toaster, kettle, cafetiere, wall-mounted 32” Samsung TV with Freeview and an ipod docking station.
  • Double doors lead onto the decking area from the kitchen.

  • Furnished with two sets of full adult sized bunk beds, a large double wardrobe with drawers and a wall-mounted 24" TV with Freeview and DVD player.

Bedroom three/Master bedroom

  • Situated on the second floor.
  • Furnished with a king-size bed, double wardrobe, two bedside cabinets with lamps, feature fireplace and a wall-mounted 24” TV with Freeview.
  • Juliet balcony.

Bedroom four

  • Furnished with twin ‘zip and link’ beds (can be arranged as a double on request), wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets with lamps.

Bathroom

  • Bathroom one, situated on the first floor services bedroom one and two, featuring twin sinks, wc, roll top bath with antique-style mixer taps and hand held shower. Also features a shower cubicle with luxury double person oversized rainwater effect power shower.
  • Bathroom two, situated on the second floor services bedroom three and four, featuring twin sinks, wc, roll top bath with antique-style mixer taps and hand held shower. Also features a shower cubicle with luxury double person oversized rainwater effect power shower.
  • Cloakroom located on the lower ground floor complete with a wash basin and wc.
