Hayle Towans Beach is one of Cornwall’s most unspoilt corners. We’re talking miles of sand, great surf and views that make you forget the rest of the world in an instant. If you’d choose stunning views over beach shops and amenities then Hayle Beach is perfect, as it’s a little off the beaten track but that only makes it even more of a find.
There’s lifeguard cover during the summer months, and even if you’re not a surfer it’s fun to sit on the sand and watch them navigate the waves when the surf’s up. This is one of those Cornwall beaches where space is never a problem no matter how fine the day, the sand goes on for miles and there’s plenty of room to shake out your towels without worring about being elbow to elbow with your fellow beachgoers.
There’s a seasonal dog ban, and the car park nearby charges just £2 to park for the day. Hayle Towans is a real hidden gem of a beach, so if you fancy exploring real Cornwall and ditching the path most travelled for a day then head to this stunning stretch of coastline.
