Donkey StablesThe village of Clovelly stands apart from others in Devon, andnot least because of its working donkeys! These friendly residents were used to carry goods and luggage up and down the steep hills until as recently as the last decade, but these days they're one of the most popular Clovelly attractions. Although now retired and replaced by a Land Rover , the donkeys are happy to carry children around their field during the warmer months, and can still be seen roaming the village and as they enjoy the quiet life!
