Vetiver is every inch the sophisticated English restaurant, with an elegant décor and intimate dining spaces it makes for a special spot for a meal during a stay in the New Forest. There are seating areas tucked in airy conservatories, cosy corners of the dining room and the beautiful open wine room, and the menu uses the finest ingredients each season has to offer on a varied, intelligent menu.
The grill menu has been thoughtfully put together to showcase some old favourites and introduce newer dishes at the same time, and every dish is beautifully presented with flair. There’s a relaxed atmosphere at Vetiver, so although it’s a dining experience to remember for a long time you’ll still feel comfortable enough to enjoy it, and there’s a set lunch menu for those of you who prefer to visit during the daytime.
One of the restaurant’s biggest focuses is its extensive wine list, and with a dedicated team of five sommeliers and more than 1400 wines onsite, a visit’s a fantastic opportunity to sample something new or ask for the perfect flavour to complement your meal. In fact, the wine list is one of the most extensive in the region and it includes wines from all over the world.
