Thomas Tripp

Food & Drink

Thomas Tripp has a reputation for serving food that has visitors returning as soon as they can, and as dogs are welcome too it’s a good choice if you’ve been walking and just need to relax for awhile. The pub has a garden to its rear for those of you who prefer to make the most of a sunny day (well who doesn’t let’s be honest?!) and the menu may not have the most extensive selection of meals but the reviewers all mention one thing – the steaks are amazing.

From the bloom-filled hanging baskets that adorn the front of the pub to the cosy, simple décor, there’s a homely feel to Thomas Tripp that makes travellers feel as if they can relax and take their time. You can reserve a table in advance if you’re going to be dining and the menu caters for vegetarians as well as meat eaters – in fact we have it on very good authority that this is one of the best places in Lymington for a veggie selection so bear it in mind if you have special requirements.

Children are welcome inside and out so there’s a family atmosphere to the pub , and if you take the kids along make sure they don’t miss out on the sticky toffee pudding…
