The fairy lights, wooden junk shop tables and simple menu merge to create a special, yet comfortable feel. The Wheel House is a great little cafe for a cosy meal for two, especially as most of the dishes are designed for two to share. If you order whole crab you even get a pinny!

Found in the High Street, the restaurant has been running since 2009 and prides itself on its honest food made with local produce. In fact, many of the ingredients are grown in the restaurant’s own gardens!

The chef has experience at The Dorchester in Mayfair, and a career spanning 30 years – and he enjoys creating real food with a new twist here and there.
