The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is dog-friendly, although dogs must be kept inside the cabin and not out on the front deck. Dog-Friendly Exmoor WalksNo guest of dog friendly Exmoor holidays will want for an Exmoor walk, as it is one of the UK’s largest nature reserves! If you’re looking for an idea for a walk, The Coleridge Way stretches for 36 miles and is a great way to discover the romantic side of Exmoor at the same time. The Exmoor landscape was the inspiration for Coleridge’s famous literary works, and some of the most popular walks on the Coleridge Way start in Nether Stowey, his former home. Also, the Paws and Boots company operate guided walks especially designed for owners and dogs. Dunster and The Tall Trees Trail is another unique walk on Exmoor, and includes the tallest trees in England! This 3 hour walk is 5.5 miles long and includes sightings of Dunster’s dramatic castle, two hill forts dating back to the Iron Age and the village’s medieval scenery.
