Description

Set in the popular seaside town of Weymouth is your ideal family home from home.
Bonaventure has been tastefully decorated throughout by an interior designer who has included supreme comfort and all the personal touches you and your family will enjoy.

Inside you will find a fully equipped and well stocked kitchen and open plan dining area, perfect for hosting your very own British bake off or getting the family together over a Sunday roast dinner. Four bedrooms spread over the two floors, three bathrooms and a large private garden makes Bonaventure brilliant for all generations. The large fully enclosed private back garden has decking and lawn areas, and a ‘secret garden’ ideal for children to run and play while you watch on and enjoy some alfresco dining.

Bonaventure benefits from a great location just minutes from Weymouth’s sandy beach, promenade and picturesque harbour. Weymouth is a classic seaside resort, with an abundance of attractions. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy.

A short drive from Weymouth is Portland with its historic harbour. These areas were also the location for the sailing events at the 2012 Olympics. It is excellent for sailing, kite and wind surfing offering world class facilities ideal for getting involved or just taking in the view. In this area you will also find Chesil Beach, a vast pebble beach stretching for 18 miles. The views from the bay are spectacular, stretching across the horizon taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

Take a stroll to the nearby Newtons Cove, a local favourite. Newtons Cove is a most unspoilt, beautiful bay where children will enjoy crabbing in the rock pools and you can enjoy barbeque in the gardens above, whilst enjoying the spectacular scenery towards Portland from this vantage point.

Bonaventure

Bonaventure is spacious and homely and perfect for family groups with children. It had plenty of equipment and is very well set out easily accommodating 9. The garden is lovely and would be fantastic in the summer. It's also a lovely walk down to Castle Cove and along the coastal path to the National Sailing Centre in Portland. Great location for anyone sailing at WPNSA.

Fantastic break

Bonaventure is a fantastic property in a fantastic location. It is spacious and bright and has a lovely garden to relax in. Walking distance to the town centre means everything is in easy reach. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. We had a great time, I can't recommend this property highly enough.

Bonaventure - The perfect place to stay

This accommodation was perfect for us over the New Year. The living room and dining area have a retro feel and accommodated 6 adults and 3 children extremely well. The bathrooms are very modern/clean and the bedrooms have all been decorated individually, which gave it real character and just showed how much attention to detail the owners have given to everything. The kitchen was immaculate and very well equipped and had everything and more that you might need to cater for large groups. There were also lovely touches like chocolates for the children and wine for the adults left by the owners, which were all greatly appreciated. The garden looked like it would be a great space in the summer for both children and adults, so would love to return. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Weymouth holiday

Bonaventure was an excellent house for our extended family. Children enjoyed playing in the garden and the house was large enough to accommodate us on rainy days. Good location, quiet and with parking. Did take about 15 minutes to walk onto town. Bit of a hill on the way back with all the beach stuff. We got used to it and it was good exercise. Could be mentioned on description. Weymouth great place for families. Superb beach and lots of facilities. Great atmosphere.
