Beautiful cottage

A very relaxing, comfortable and beautiful cottage and views. Jenni is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. We recommend Clavell’s restaurant in Kimmeridge and all the local walks. Hope to return soon.

Lake View Cottage

Lake View Cottage was lovely, it is close to the centre of Wareham where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants and there are lots of things to do in the local area. The cottage is on a beautiful lake, with lots of wildlife, a very peaceful setting with no one else around. The cottage is immaculately clean with everything you need. We stayed for a week and could of stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

Lake View Cottage, Wareham

Lake View Cottage Wareham sits in a spectacular secluded location overlooking the lake. The three bedroom cottage is well equipped, with two of the bedrooms having large king size beds. Jenni from the adjacent B&B was very helpful, particularly when there was a minor glitch with the hot water system, which she sorted out very promptly. Highlights for us were dinner on the patio overlooking the lake, walks around the walls of Wareham and the lake, steam train ride from Swanage to Corfe Castle then walk back, and lunch at Rick Stein's restaurant across the ferry in Sandbanks.

Wonderful

Fabulous property in the most beautiful, peaceful location. Everything we could possibly need. A lovely 20 minute walk along a pretty lane into Wareham which is a lovely village/small town on the river.

Lake View Cottage, Wareham

We had a lovely holiday at Lake View Cottage in Wareham. The property is in a beautiful and quiet location overlooking a lake. The property is all on one floor so worked really well for our kids and less mobile parents. We couldn't recommend the property highly enough.

We would highly recommend Lake View Cottage

We have just come home from a lovely two weeks of sunshine staying at Lake View Cottage. Within 10 minutes of us arriving our boys were kayaking on the private lake which the property faces and they went in every day of our stay. The property is very spacious and the beds are large and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and hot water is plentiful. A lovely touch was a little welcome hamper with bread, milk and tea/coffee which was most appreciated after a 6 hour drive! The garden had plenty of room for us all to sit and eat and just relax and best of all no noise at all, apart from the Cockerel that visited us every day with his 5 hens, who is very friendly and expects a treat before leaving! At night we saw owls, bats and 100's of frogs much to our boys delight. The walk into Wareham is down a private lane and takes around 25 minutes and is a lovely place to have a wander around, with its own little museum and a walk around the Wareham Walls walk. A circular walk around Wareham is very interesting and takes around an hour. There is also a local supermarket with bakery. There are plenty of places to eat out and also plenty of takeaways. We would highly recommend The Granary pub and the Italian restaurant in the Quay, but these get very busy so book in advance. A trip on the paddle steamer from the Quay is also a must and was very enjoyable. Wareham is a great base for lots of places to visit and if you are interested in motorbikes/cars Poole on a Tuesday/Friday evening must not be missed! Also a steam train ride to Corfe Castle was very interesting.and last but not least Monkey World,it is 10 minutes away and is worth a visit if only to help keep this fantastic place doing what they do. A big thank-you to Ray the owner of the property and his team for making us so welcome. We would highly recommend Lake View Cottage.
