It’s easy to miss Caffe Baglioni as it’s tucked in a quiet alleyway, but as one of Sherborne’s most popular places to take the weight off your feet and order something filling we had to let you know about it so you don’t miss out.
Hanging baskets on the café’s façade add a splash of colour to the historic street and sunny days see visitors basking in the warmth at the tables that line the outside. In fact, the courtyard’s something of a sun trap so the café makes the perfect place for a pit stop during a day exploring Sherborne (or stocking up on souvenirs to take home).
The café isn’t the largest one you’ll have visited, but the team encourage diners to take their time and there’s never the feeling that they’re waiting for the table back for the next set of customers. This is the place for some time out in a pretty corner of the historic market town, and Susan and her staff are known for extending a warm welcome to all visitors.
