Holiday in Portland Easter 2014

Have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at Shearwater, Portland. The accommodation is top notch and just about everything has been thought of. The kitchen is very well equipped, the whole place was spotless. Had a real home from home feel about it. We were left a bottle of wine and flowers which was a lovely personal touch. The Managers of this property are doing a grand job. We had gorgeous weather whilst we were there. The views from the house are lovely and the beach hut location is across the road to the cove - be warned it is a really steep incline and a pebbly beach but well worth visiting Would definitely recommend.

Another Wonderful Stay!

This house is so comfortable, it is a real home away from home. We really enjoyed the beach-hut, it was lovely to have a nice cup of tea in a comfy chair and admire the view. Despite it being drizzly half the time we enjoyed the coastal walks and stunning scenery.

Good Quality Accommodation

One of the best holiday homes that we have stayed in. Very comfortable beds, good quality linen & spotlessly clean. The house had everything that we needed, we hope to stay again.

Shearwater

What a fabulous house. Well-equipped and very comfortable. A lot of thought gone into everything here especially all the children's toys, games and books. We had family staying in Poole and Weymouth who came and looked at the house (and it was our son's birthday) who were all amazed at the high standard. Thank you very much.

A great holiday.

The house more than met our expectations and has everything you could possibly need. This has been the most tastefully decorated and best equipped property we have ever stayed in. We had a fabulous time with family. Thanks to Rob who has been so helpful and friendly. The flowers, wine and milk upon our arrival were very much appreciated. We were so lucky with the weather too, every day was sunny and hot. All in all a great holiday.

Excellent holiday at Shearwater, Portland

Another fabulous holiday at the excellent Shearwater in Portland, Dorset. This is our second holiday at this property and again it was still the same beautiful house that we enjoyed so much two years ago. The standard of cleaning is second to none. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, plenty of books, DVDs, toys etc. I think the only thing I could think of that was missing and believe me, I had to rack my brains, was a tea cosy but that is an extremely minor thing! The location is great and opposite the house you have Pennsylvania Castle and the beautiful Church Ope Cove which we love. It's extremely good value for money - Shearwater, we will be back!

Beautiful house.

Beautiful house, everything you need is available. The welcome pack is very nice and we all wish we were staying another week. The house was very well equipped for my toddler, she loved all the books. The house is very clean and we had brilliant weather.

Shearwater

Apart from a small hiccup in finding the exact house, due to it being newly built, this was a 3-story townhouse which was perfect. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with every appliance and full instructions regarding their use. The top floor boasted a room for drying which was remarkably effective and useful. The beds were very very comfortable and all the linen from curtains to tea-towels was immaculate. This was our first experience with Blue Chip and if this is the general standard, then we shall definitely holiday with them again.

Wonderful stay.

Thank you for a wondeful stay in your beautiful home. It is very well equipped we weren't short of anything. The flowers and wine upon our arrival were a lovely touch. Weather has been fantastic so we visited most beaches in the area. Loved having use of the beach-hut. There are great walks on the doorstep and most are dog friendly.

Shearwater

We have had a fantastic time here at Shearwater. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. We have stayed at a number of Blue Chip Homes in the last few years and Shearwater is by far the best we have stayed. The flowers and wine were a lovely thought and the children loved all the toys! We would recommend to anyone. Regards.
