Fir Tree Lodge, Lyme Regis.

We booked through Blue Chip Holidays for our holiday to Lyme Regis, it was quick and easy and they were great on keeping us updated through texts. The holiday itself was excellent, check in was hassle free and easy and the staff were friendly and helpful, the owner of the lodge even took time to chat to us and answer our questions. As a group of young adults ranging from 19-25 it was hard to find a place to accommodate the 10 of us but Pinewood were unjudgemental, the location is quiet however we didn't mind, the beach was only a short drive away and we were provided with a booklet of local places to go and things to do so we weren't ever short of ideas. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was cleaned daily and the lodge itself was tidy and modern, the only fault would be the shower wasn't overly powerful but it was standable. Over all an amazing holiday!

Great Place Great Holiday - Fir Tree Lodge Pinewoods

We went with my 15 year old daughter and 7 of her friends. The lodge slept 10 and was very spacious. There was one double en suite for the two adults plus a 4 bed room and a three bed room plus a put up bed which easily fitted into the third bedroom. The lounge/dinner was very spacious and comfortable 2 large sofa, big Freeview TV and DVD player. Kitchen was well equipped, including dishwasher and washing machine. Best of all, private garden space with our own hot tub and just a few hundred yards to the pool. The outdoor pool was closed, we were there beginning of April but the indoor pool was great. The park is not very big, but it has excellent facilities, and because of its size it was not overcrowded. 4 miles from Lyme Regis and 3 Miles from Seaton, it was in a great location and very easy to find.

Amazing long weekend

Just wanted to say that our stay at fir tree lodge was amazing. I had organised a long weekend for my family with ages ranging from 3 to 84 and everyone loved it. Lodge it self is huge and we all had more than enough room. The hot tub was an added bonus and was very nice. Owners were great, really helpful nothing too much trouble Can't wait to stay again

Fantastic large lodge

I booked Pinewood Lodge for myself and 9 girl friends, and i can honestly say it beat every single expectation we had. The bedrooms were all big, we had enough Dining room space, comfy lounge seats, fab conservatory, 2 large garden benches, and a wonderful 6 person hot tub. The Kitchen was very well equipped, and it was lovely having all beds made up on arrival. If i had to say a negative, it would be that it was quite a dark place, being all wood inside......but its no big problem!! We enjoyed a lovely walk down to Seaton through a very very quiet country lane, and found a wonderful pub (the Harbour at Axmouth). We didn't use the swimming pools, but they looked clean and warm. If i was with my children, i would definitely have used them. The park itself was very quiet, and had a lovely feel to it. I will be looking to book it again with my family, as its also a great location, providing you don't mind driving places. Lyme Regis is not accessable by foot, and we really struggled with Taxis. Overall, we had an EXCELLENT holiday, and will most definitely be back!

Great holiday for 2 family birthdays

This lodge is fantastic! There were 9 of us and the space was amazing. Hot tub was a great extra. The weather was good when we were there so the outdoor swimming pool was fantastic. Both the shallow and deep pool were heated. Only about a 5 minute drive from the beach, and a 8-10 minute drive from Lyme Regis. The Pinewood site was quiet, we were never disturbed, great little bird aviary for the kids to enjoy, reception staff were very helpful when we were asking about local amenities etc. Overall we would definitely recommend this site.

Fabulous time was had by all......

We spent a lovely weekend in this beautiful lodge, kept to an excellent standard. The location was wonderful, a real getaway from it all. We travelled with family, adults and children aged from 9 - 59 and we all enjoyed it. The hot tub was inspected and maintained daily to keep it in tip top condition. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and mini golf as well as us adults. The living area was a good size, as too were the bedrooms.. Kitchen facilities were first class, which was a real treat, also included a full size fridge freezer which was amazing for the kids ice creams and more importantly for the ice and a slice to round off the G & T. An extra bonus was having the glass conservatory, as this gave the kids a play area for board games etc, the outside garden was a beautiful tranquil setting with benches, grass and decking. What more could anyone ask......last but by no means least the lady in reception was professional, helpful and very kind. Nothing was too much trouble would totally recommend this holiday lodge....absolutely fabulous.
