Studland Beach

Studland Beach

Things To Do

Now we have to be a bit careful here, as although a beautiful place to enjoy during a Purbeck beach holiday, Studland Beach is also home to a nudist section! It’s well sign posted before the actual area, so keep your eyes peeled (in the right direction) and you’ll be able to enjoy this picturesque beach in Dorset.

There’s plenty of space for families to enjoy the sand and the views of Old Harry’s Rocks and the Isle of Wight in the distance add to the scenery. This is a friendly beach with plenty to do and it’s also a good one for water sports. The heathland found to the back of the beach may look unassuming but it’s a popular habitat for wildlife.

Studland Beach is a four mile stretch of sand, with a seasonal dog ban and welcoming sand dunes– so it’s great for those on beach holidays on the Isle of Purbeck. The South West Coast Path starts here too, so why not pick it up for a stroll? In fcat, there are handy designated walks and trails that take in the dunes, and you might even spot a deer as you go.
