The Jetty Restaurant, Bar and Grill sits right on the water’s edge in Dorset’s Christchurch, and it’s a chilled out place to sip on a glass of wine as the sun sets or tuck in to something hearty on a warm day. The Jetty is a previous winner of the Taste of the South West Tourism Excellence Award and it enjoys such gorgeous views across Mudeford Quay that is can be tricky to peel your eyes away from them.
The only way the views across the water could look any better is if you had an expert meal to enjoy while you appreciated them, and that’s just what The Jetty provides. The menu is always peppered with the freshly caught fish from each day, and the finest ingredients of every season are delivered directly to the kitchen from a whole host of suppliers.
The idea behind each of the restaurant’s menus is that they’re focused on spontaneous dishes made with sustainable produce. The fodder is oversees by Alex Aitken, who held his own Michelin star for more than 15 years and now enjoys creating meals to remember for this beautiful waterside eatery.
