Aside from the shorter journey times, one of the best parts of a holiday within the UK is that dogs can come along too. Our dog friendly holiday cottages are specially picked to make holidays as easy and comfortable as possible for our human AND doggy guests.
Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages
Many of our 4 and 5 star holiday cottages welcome dogs along, and the search tool on the left of the page makes it easy to browse for dog friendly holiday cottages with everything you need. Many of our properties are close to the beach, while others are nestled in peaceful countryside – you know your dog best so we’ll leave the choice to you.
We have spectacular holiday cottages throughout Devon, Cornwall, Wales, Dorset, Somerset, the New Forest and on the Isle of Wight. Just think of all those sticks to chase and new smells to follow together!
With all our pet friendly properties there are a few terms and conditions, probably not much more than you would expect at home - no dogs on the furniture, clear up after them and ensure they are well behaved. For each dog there is a small charge of £25 to allow for the extra cleaning required on your departure.
Many of our dog friendly holiday cottages are within easy walks or drives of beaches, family attractions and national parks that will welcome your pets. Please remember to 'scoop the poop' and keep the beaches and countryside dog friendly for everyone, and if you’re walking on the moors make sure your dog is under control where there are animals grazing. You may sometimes be required to put your dog on a lead but this is usually clearly indicated.

- Must be well behaved dogs (no puppies).
- Not all properties can take larger breeds. Please call the booking team on 0844 2737 520 to check if your preferred property can accommodate pets larger than small breeds.
- Guests undertake to ensure that dogs are not allowed on furniture.
- It is the guest's responsibility to clear up mess after their pet inside and outside.
- You will be billed for any damage incurred by your pet.
