Description

Nassau Court is an exclusive development built on the shoreline at Westward Ho! This unique position benefits from one of the most spectacular sea views in the South West.

Sand Dunes is a stunning three bedroom first floor duplex apartment finished to a very high standard with the main focal point being the stunning uninterrupted sea views from the living area which span right across the beautiful Westward Ho! and Northam Burrow beaches. The floor to ceiling windows and large private balcony running across the living area will ensure you make the most of this exclusive location.

This is a reverse level duplex with the bedrooms and the bathrooms on the main floor and open-plan living/dining/kitchen on the first floor accessed by a staircase of 23 steps. This property has secure allocated parking with a lift to the development.

Westward Ho! offers an array of seaside amenities, quaint streets, colourful architecture and fascinating curiosity shops. The beach in front of the development is known as the Golden Bay whilst the South West Coastal Path also runs through Westward Ho! – a must for keen cyclists and walkers - plus swimming, surfing, canoeing and fishing are all close by. The Tarka Trail is also in close proximity, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line amidst some of Devon's finest countryside and scenery.

For a day with a difference take a trip across to Lundy Island, home to England’s first statutory Marine Nature Reserve due to its unique flora and fauna. Measuring just 3 miles by ¾ mile, this entire island has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

For visitors seeking a piece of Devon life then the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford provide the opportunity to wander during their weekly pannier markets with a host of local produce and crafts on offer.

Sand Dunes

We had a great stay during October half-term. This is our 7th year in a row and this is our favourite apartment! Thanks for the wifi and games and Ipod chargers. That make it much more enjoyable! Had really good weather too. See you next year.

Our Holiday

The owner was really accommodating, they put themselves out and the apartment was so clean and comfortable and they even popped by to make sure everything was ok. Could not ask for more. Have already told family and friends about the property. Really Hope I manage to go back.

Lovely apartment with spectacular views.

We have returned for another week in this lovely apartment with it's spectacular views. We watched the sun set, ate on the balcony and walked to the sea. At dusk we walked up to Seafield House which was quite eerie. Hope we can return as we loved being here and wished we had a view like this back home!

The apartment is ideally located to all the facilities and was easy to locate from the instructions. The apartment was very spacious so you didn't feel on top of one another. The bedrooms have plenty of storage and were very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were excellent. The kitchen was excellent with plenty of equipment if you wanted to cook and the lounge area was very comfortable. The whole flat was very dog friendly and the view from the balcony was amazing.

Fantastic Apartment.

This is our second visit to this fantastic apartment. It definitely feels like coming home. It has a very welcoming homey feel from the moment you walk in. The small personal details do not go unnoticed. We can thoroughly recommend a visit here, absolutely stunning.

Weather Doesn't Matter

This is the first place we have stayed that the weather didn't matter. The worse it got the more the view from the windows improved. Being right on the edge watching the waves crash by was fantastic. I read very little as each time I picked up a book the view out the window was more interesting. If the weather was good there was easy walking right from the door.

Shame about the weather (but it was mid-March)

We were delighted when we saw the apartment at Nassau Court, it lived up to everything we had seen and read on the website. The quality of the equipment and furnishings was exceptional and the pictures on the walls and the ornaments etc were of a similar standard. If the above had not been the case then we might might well have cut the holiday short, because the weather was unremitting in its badness. Still, that's the risk you take in the UK, particularly at this time of year. We will do our very best to get back to Sand Dunes at a more appropriate time. Thank you!
