Pennywell Farm celebrates the Christmas season in classic style with nativity plays in the barn, and not only are all children welcome to join in and take on a role but the resident animals also play their parts. Make sure you book your child’s appearance in advance and then sit back and watch the action as the younger visitors act out the Christmas story in the perfect setting of the farm’s main barn.
No matter how many times you’ve sat and watched them shine in a nativity this is probably the only one that includes real lambs to bring the story to life, and they’ll have a great time joining in. The nativity plays are held regularly from the start of December right through until Christmas Eve, and all costumes, props (and animals!) are provided when they arrive.
Father Christmas is always on hand in his grotto and welcomes visits too, just remember to book in advance. Pennywell Farm is home to a huge collection of friendly farm animals – and trust us – when you see the miniature pigs you’ll want to take one home with you!
