Riviera Mansion, The Mews

This property is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. We have just come home from a week at Riviera Mansion (The Mews)Torquay. We have used Blue chip now for 9 holidays in Devon and Cornwall and to date this is the most stunning property that we have stayed in. From the panoramic views from the lounge and both bedrooms ,to the sun terrace (and we did have some)and the Jacuzzi it was pure luxury. Only a short ,but steep walk into Torquay ,we did not move the car for 4 days as there is plenty to do within walking distance, and plenty of boat trips to nearby towns .A big thank-you to the property owners for allowing us to stay .We would all highly recommend a stay in this Mews. Dear blue chip There was no feedback book in the above property and I wished to leave some as the property was so nice.

Brilliant Holiday

We stayed here as a family with two young children in April 2016. The standard of the facilities in the property are excellent and the view is superb. The location is very good, close to the beach and shops, its a steep walk to get to both but you would not have the same view from the property if it was not high up on the hill. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Riviera Mansion, The Mews

We stayed at Riviera Mews for 4 days in March 2014. The views are spectacular from the lounge and bedrooms. It would seem impossible to equal this with the decor, equipment and furnishings but the owners have achieved it and more. I can't praise this apartment highly enough except to say that we will certainly be back here again. Superb. Regards Mel and Sue Jones

Memorable holiday

Our recent holiday experience at the Riviera Mansion, The Mews, Torquay was truly memorable. As you opened the door the panoramic view that greets you through the floor to ceiling lounge window is breath-taking. The decoration, facilities and appliances are of the highest specification. We can truly say this was the best accommodation we have stayed in and would certainly recommend it to other people. The location over looking the bay is ideally situated to be within easy walking distance of the town, harbour, theatre and some lovely coastal walks. Audrey & Stuart

Holiday at The Riviera Mansion The Mews

The Mews was a luxury apartment with amazing views .. Everything you need is in the apartment .. The only thing that let it down was the sun beds which where rusty and broken and only 3 sunbeds where apartment is for 4 people .. But overall it was excellent and will go again

Riviera Mansion, The Mews

Our holiday at Riviera Mansions The Mews was fantastic everything we could have hoped for. Warm, comfy beds, plenty of utensils, superb views we would have been quite content to sit in all day and just look out the window. A really great holiday in a beautiful setting that we will remember for a long time.

Riviera Mansion the Mews, 23rdApril - 30th April. Realy enjoyed our stay, fantastic views on every floor. Every home comfort, clean and tidy throughout, Love the decore. Stairs from lounge to bedrooms may not suit the less mobile. But overall a great place to stay.

Wow!!

What an amazing place. We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Mews which was wonderful. Immediately you walked in the door it was just 'wow'! The views were amazing and everything we needed was in the apartment - all very clean and nothing could be faulted. The weather was great too so what more could you ask. We took lots of books to read but hardly read anything as we were too busy admiring the view from the lovely picture window. Thanks Blue Chip and Graham.

Riviera Mansions The Mews

A stunning apartment with fabulous views over the bay. Ideal for watching the weather coming in from the west. Quality of fixtures and fittings was excellent and plenty of space. However there were essential items missing including a hairdryer, shaver socket. It would also have been useful to have a place to hang wet coats. This was somewhat disappointing for a five star platinum property. Overall we would recommend the property to anyone looking for some luxury!

Amazing

Myself and my husband stayed at The Mews Riviera Mansion for four nights, the accommodation was outstanding. The en suite bathrooms were fantastic, we had everything we needed and more. The views were spectacular and although March we were lucky with the weather and able to use the outside seating area. It was great being able to park the car off the road right outside the door as we didn't use it all the time we were there. It was great having things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towel, kitchen roll and toilet rolls provided. This was certainly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in and would recommend it to anyone thinking of trying it.

Torquay Holiday

Stayed at Riviera Mews in Torquay first week of May 2015, the photos online do not do justice to this outstanding property. Fabulous throughout from the beautiful kitchen to the lounge with floor to ceiling windows which look out right across Torbay, the views are breathtaking. Everything is high spec including the bedrooms and en suites, a truly comfortable house with every need taken care of. The patio area is an extra treat, to be able to sit out there and enjoy the scenery whilst having a drink is great. The location is spot on, a short walk down the hill leads to the seafront with lots of places to have a meal or a drink whilst overlooking the sea. There is plenty to do and plenty of boat trips etc all in the immediate vicinity. The parking space at the front of the house is convenient and makes life easier. I would recommend this property and will be going back again myself.

Wonderful

We have just returned and found the accommodation to be of an excellent standard. The view is amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you could need. The sofas are reclining and very comfortable, the choice of downloaded movies and music was a nice surprise. Beds very comfortable. Whole house was spotless. The accommodation is very close to the town, harbour and beach. There are quite a few steps or a steep hill to go down or up! We found a local taxi only cost £5 for the return journey. Over all a fabulous holiday, we will be back.

Fabulous 'wow' factor

From entering the property it was clear that this was going to be no ordinary holiday let. The quality of decoration, fittings and features are superb and the views from the lounge and both bedrooms absolutely fantastic - we were lucky and had great weather all week and could have almost believed we were in the south of France. The bedrooms are large and airy with high quality beds and the en suite bathrooms are very well appointed, especially the jacuzzi bath which leaves you feeling very relaxed. The kitchen is also excellent with high quality appliances, whilst the dining area is perfectly sited to give wonderful views across the bay as you enjoy your meal. It was also good that tea/coffee/sugar were provided along with dishwasher tablets, washing machine liquid and toilet rolls. Covered parking right outside the front entrance was a bonus giving peace of mind. The situation is excellent and it's only a short but steep walk down into Torquay itself via quite a lot of steps. There are plenty of things to do in and around the harbour and the beach is also very near. Restaurants abound and there is no problem in finding one to suit all tastes and budgets. All together a great property in a good location and one which we would certainly stay at again. Alison and Rod.
