Description

Hesketh Crescent, based on the Regency ideals of London and Brighton, was completed in 1848. The Crescent (named after landowner Sir Lawrence Palk's marriage to Maria Hesketh in 1845) was built as fifteen private houses, which have since been converted into stunning apartments.

Horizon is a second floor apartment with panoramic views over the blue flag Meadfoot Beach. Torquay town centre is just a short walk away.

Guests are invited to use The Osborne Hotel's health club facilities for a small charge, and The Osborne Hotel Brasserie is offering Blue Chip Holidays guests to Hesketh Crescent a take away service (collection only). Simply state that you are staying with Blue Chip Holidays on ordering.

hesketh creasant

a wonderful holiday the apartment at Hesketh Creasant was comfortable and cosy with fantastic views ,we had a great time didnt use the car once the local hop on bus transport was great value and we explored Torquay and the whole of Torbay using bus boat and steam train .little things with the apartment which would benefit the four star rating ie some TLC needed to give it a fresh look especially the kitchen and upgrade the television and there is no wfi but these are small things overall a great holiday with blue chip Chris

Horizon, Hesketh Crescent, Torquay

Flat clean, excellent views across Meadfoot Bay further improved by easy access to the swimming pools and tennis court of the adjacent Osborne Hotel. The only negative points we experienced during the week were not due to the accommodation booked through Blue Chip. Firstly, the hotel has exactly the same relatively small dinner menu for the entire week (and beyond we understand). Secondly the hotel no longer has a Brasserie despite advertising it on its external signage. The alternative offered is a takeaway service. While the relatively small size of the hotel means that expectations should not be the same as they would be for much larger hotels,

Horizon, Hesketh Crescent

We've had a wonderful holiday here. The apartment is home from home. The bed was comfy and the shower has been great. The rooms are safe for a small child to run around in and it has been a great base for us to explore the area. The best bit by far has been sitting here watching the sun go down over the sea, so peaceful. Many thanks. x

Second year we booked this particular apt, and it's hard to fault. The location is great, just a pleasant walk to Torquay, quiet at night, with the best view in town,

Horizon, Hesketh Crescent

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable and fantastic views. Well worth paying the hotel for use of pools etc. for the week. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Nice walk along coastal path to Torquay - leave the car behind!

Horizon Apartment Torquay

Great stay at the Horizon. Lovely Victorian building with fantastic views across the bay from our windows.Peaceful as approximately a mile from the hustle and bustle of Torquay town centre but with Meadfoot Beach just a minute away from the apartment. Use of the gym, indoor pool and tennis facilities for a small weekly fee. For the perfect 10/10 it would have been nice to be allowed to use the hotel's outdoor swimming pool.
