Hi- my husband and myself had a very enjoyable stay.

Hi- my husband and myself had a very enjoyable stay. The only downside is the noise from the clubs... having said this, we will be back in the next 2 mths, I loved the apartment and also we love torquay... Thank you. Lisa and Richard Sharman.

2 Queens Quay

2 Queens Quay is a fantastic modern apartment overlooking the marina. It has first class facilities and the management company are excellent. It does get noisy due to its central location and late night revellers, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings. However, it is well worth a visit.

Almost perfection.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and ideally situated apartment. From the moment we picked up our key and walked in to find everything we needed for a cup of tea together with yummy biscuits and looked round at the quality of the furnishings and decorations I knew I had made a great choice. We left our car in the car park for the three days we were there, wonderful walks, convenient ferries and lots of buses or taxis to bring us home. There was constant hot water and fantastic showers with good towels (thank goodness!). So, obviously a delight. Why not perfection? We were only disturbed by late night revellers on one night, but I imagine that this would be more of a problem in high season. Extra soundproofing, and it would be perfect for me.

Perfection at 2 Queens Quay

The apartment has stunning views over the Torquay harbour ( including the wheel) and was a luxury home from home. Shops, buses and other amenities were within a stone's throw. It was almost like living in a show house.A return visit is certainly on the cards for us. Many thanks to Blue Chip for making our holiday one to remember for a very long time.

Queens Quay , Torquay Harbour

A superb apartment located right in the heart of central Torquay , adjacent to main shopping area and harbour. The Queens Hotel closed some years ago and has been very tastefully converted into apartments. No 2 Queens Quay is on the first floor & there is a lift for those not wanting to use the stairs... very useful for luggage & shopping. There is no car park specifically for the apartments , however a good loading/unloading bay is right outside. As long as you are staying for 3 nights or over the owners of the apartment leave you an envelope with cash for the local council pay & display car park, which is literally 2 minutes walk away. There are good restaurants close by . The apartment is very tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds , seating etc. It is extremely well equipped for self catering. Although the apartment is in the heart of the town there was very little night time noise...the only time I heard any was late on the Saturday night when the pubs and clubs came out ! Altogether a superb property & we shall be booking to return later in the year.
