Description

With an elegant character that suits its setting in historic Topsham, 44 Fore Street is a two bedroom home from home with a bright, spacious feel throughout. After a busy day exploring the cobbled streets of this waterside town in East Devon, settle down in front of the ornate fireplace and enjoy a glass of something bubbly and some time out.

The kitchen makes a welcoming space to feed the group, and if you stock up on local produce you’ll have everything you need to create the kind of hearty meal that’s made Devon so popular with foodies.

Upstairs, the master bedroom’s home to a king size bed, and bedroom two has handy zip and link beds that are arranged as twins but can be set up as a double upon request. For the mums and dads, we can arrange a cot and high chair to be supplied to make your stay easier, and dogs are welcome too.

Topsham sits on the beautiful river Exe, and its streets are lined with Dutch-style merchant houses that have helped the resort hold onto the feel of days gone by. Once famous for its production of fine lace, the town’s home to award-winning restaurants, pubs that offer a warm welcome, and Darts Farm just outside the town is a haven for those of you keen to sample local produce.
