The Tavistock Viaduct Walk passes through the first nature reserve to be created in Devon. The viaduct dates back to 1889 and was part of the former London to Plymouth line. This scenic Tavistock walk passes beautiful wildlife areas, with wetland, water and grassland habitats – so keep your eyes peeled for any sightings.
The walk includes some stunning views across the moors and there are several picnic areas is you fancy eating en route. There are several car parks close to the viaduct, so walkers can choose their walk length before arriving.
