Third time lucky

This was our third family visit to Wells Park Barn and once again we were very happy with our stay. We enjoy the location with its central proximity to the many places we visit. Next year could be our fourth visit. Well done Blue chip.

Wells Park Barn

This is an ideal property for families or friends . The accommodation is well laid out and everything you require on holiday is there. It is all of a high standard. An extremely pleasant walk to Blackpool Sands, about a mile in distance. Good exercise for the leg muscles but worth it for the hot chocolate and fab cakes at the cafe on the beach. It's only 5 minutes from wonderful Dartmouth. Can't recommend the property highly enough. Even the gentleman you have to ring about the key arrangements was very helpful and pleasant. We would go again, and recommend the property and use Blue Chip Holidays again.

Wells Park Barn

Wow! We have stayed in several holiday properties over the years with other holiday companies but this is by far the best accommodation we have had to date. The attention to detail did not go amiss; the younger members of the group really appreciated the Sky plus and the huge range of DVDs. Us adults really loved the layout and the tasteful done barn conversion, especially the quality of the kitchenware, bathrooms, towels etc. It is tucked away up a very narrow access road and is easy to miss when you first get to the village ~ just remember to turn right 20 yards after the village shop.

Wells Park Barn

Well designed and well equipped house, ideal for two families to share. Great location; couple of minutes drive or a pleasant walk, down the lane opposite the Green Dragon pub, to the beach at Blackpool Sands. Some wonderful rock pool beaches for kids further along the coast too. Excellent pasties and local wine from the village shop next door.

Wells Park Barn

This is the second time we have booked with Blue Chip Holidays and in particular, Wells Park Barn. Its a comfortable, spacious property in a gorgeous location - very close to Blackpool Sands. The barn is extremely well equipped and to be honest, it feels just like a "home from home"! We are already booked to return again later in the year and our family cannot wait!! Thank you!

Wells Park Barn

A wonderful place to relax with our three generation family. Beautifully designed Wells Park barn, with split level bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen makes this a great holiday experience. The best part was the comfort and warmth of the barn to come back to after a busy day out. There was a wonderful sound of church bells just outside the back door.

Excellent holiday!

Wells Barn was an excellent choice for 8 of us. The accommodation was very spacious and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. It was nice not to have just 8 of everything so we were not washing up all the time! All the bathrooms were great with loads of hot water. Stoke Fleming is a lovely little village and a great location to explore lots of towns around. Both the local pub - The Green Dragon and the Radius 7 bar/restaurant were very friendly. Had a great meal in both. Easy to walk down to the Blackpool Sands beach which is lovely - bit of a climb back up but worth it. Quick drive to Dartmouth which is a beautiful town to wander around. The only downside was there was no mobile service in the Barn but made us switch off!

Wells Park Barn

What a fabulous week we've just had in South Devon. Not only did we strike it lucky with perfect weather, but we were also thrilled with our cottage! Located just along the road from Blackpool Sands Beach, everything within the cottage was to a very high standard and the layout was ideal for our extended family group of 7 people! A lot of thought has gone into the cottage & its effects which really added to our stay. The coastline is so pretty in this part of the world - even if the water temp is freezing!! We especially loved Salcombe & the surrounding area and we'd love to return again in the future.

What a fantastic barn you have, we all had a brilliant four days here. We had some lovely walks especially into Dartmouth. For food we recommend the kings arms in street, fabulous fish and steaks.

Wells Park Barn

The Barn was exceptional, plenty of room, very clean and the underfloor heating was welcome as the weather was quite cold. There were 3 generations in our party and we all had plenty of space. The Brill was an excellent place to eat (especially the home made ice cream). It was definitely value for money and we will be recommending it to family and friends.
