Salcombe Retreat

Salcombe Retreat

Salcombe, Devon

Set in one of the most naturally beautiful areas of the UK, Salcombe Retreat is a contemporary development of coastal lodges that was created with two things in mind – luxury living and location. The lodges are spacious and stylish throughout and each one has been carefully designed to showcase the surrounding views to perfection with floor to ceiling windows and open plan layouts.

Where there are sweeping windows to let every inch of a view flood a lodge, we understand that guests also need privacy, and the location of each lodge at Salcombe Retreat has been planned to ensure guests can enjoy a secluded feel both inside and outside of their retreat.

The park includes a large area especially for owners to let their dogs stretch their legs, as well as an open recreation area for everyone to enjoy and there’s boat storage onsite for those of you who love nothing more than to explore a new region from the water.

A country setting

Set in the South Hams, Salcombe Retreat sits in the midst of National Trust Designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and no matter how many mornings you wake up to the sight of the scenery you’ll always have that “I can’t believe I’m here” moment.

In fact, the area’s sweeping countryside and nearby coastline are so invigorating for those visiting that Salcombe Retreats makes it easy to get out and enjoy exploring wherever possible. Speaking of exploring, Soar Mill Cove beach is a sandy little cove with picture postcard looks and it’s just a 15 minute walk along the South West Coast Path from Salcombe Retreat.

Children's play area

For those days when you’re content to stay close to your lodge and let the kids enjoy the setting, you’ll find a children’s play area complete with football nets and climbing equipment. That means sunny days at Salcombe Retreat are all about adventures, and the play park means plenty of opportunity to make new friends and make the most of the Great Outdoors.
