Plymouth Pavilions is one of the biggest venues in the South West and its entertainment and leisure facilities make it a multi-purpose complex that offers something for every taste. The Pavilions is the place to see your favourite artist, that musical you’ve wanted to see for ages or an orchestral evening of classical music for a change – it’s a venue where anything goes and there’s always something on.
The Plymouth Pavilions has seen audiences root for the local basketball team the Plymouth Raiders, watch the Russian Ice Stars in awe and split their sides to some of the scene’s best comedians. It’s well worth checking what’s on while you’re in the area when you book your holiday as some live entertainment can make it one to remember.
There’s an ice rink inside the venue, and with its disco lights and snow machine it’s the only place you can experience a winter wonderland in the middle of a warm Devon summer. There are regular events held at the rink too, such as family and under 18s disco nights – it’s recommended that you book ahead as these fill up fast. There are ice aids available for adults and children so don’t worry if your skating’s not winter-Olympic ready.
