With nine screens, the Apollo Cinema in Paignton is south Devon’s largest. This multiplex cinema offers the perfect place to watch the latest blockbusters in comfort, and there are 70 seats in the smallest screens. One of the screens is licensed, so if you haven’t finished your drink from the bar you can take it in with you while you enjoy the film. There are regular £2 showings for children on Saturdays, so this cinema caters for families as well as friends.
There’s no parking at the cinema, but there is a multi storey car park close to Victoria Park just on the other side of the road from the seafront. There are also occasional car parking spaces to be found right outside the cinema beside the sea wall, but these can be closed off at certain times of the year.
You’ll find a wide range of snacks on offer at the ticket counter, including hot dogs and pic n mix, and The Boathouse restaurant right next door has a children’s play area. You’ll also find a Geo play park on Paignton Green just outside of the Apollo, so the kids can let off steam before going in to watch the film.
