Beautiful Buzzards View

Thank you for the eggs! They were the best we’ve ever tasted! Thanks also for a lovely stay in the beautiful Buzzards View. We have enjoyed our stay and the children especially loved the chickens.

Buzzards View....and more!

Had a great week in sunny South Devon! This old Apple Store was very comfortable for our party of 4 with cosy lounge diner and small kitchen upstairs and cool bedrooms downstairs. Enjoyed having a large patio and barbecue plus little garden. Great views of fields and the Paignton donkeys plus the owners chickens. Our little dog enjoyed it too! Ideal quiet location with lots of good coastal walks and National Trust's Coleton Fishacre property. Only a short drive to Brixham and Berry Head as well as the delights of Dartmouth.

A stay in Kingswear

This is a beautiful setting with excellent views. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was a little smaller than the photos suggest but well kept and clean.

Buzzards View

A beautifully renovated Apple Store, set in idyllic rural surroundings. Look out of the window and see hens, donkeys, horses, sheep and lambs on the backdrop of the unspoilt gently rolling hills of Devon.

Lovely to be back...

It is lovely to be back at Buzzards View in this idyllic valley. For the week it has been the perfect base for our walks and trips. The weather has been excellent and we got in some swimming at beautiful Scabbacombe. It is very soothing to feed the hens and watch the donkeys. We hope very much to be back again!

Excellent property, in an ideal location for Brixham, Dartmouth, etc. Brilliant for the kids to play outside, and help with the donkeys! Would definitely return.

A delightful stay

Buzzards View is a delightful cottage in the rolling Devon countryside. It is close to all amenities but at the same time in a lovely quiet location. The eggs from were delicious (I know everyone has said this but it is true!). The table set for dinner and tea tray set were a lovely welcoming touch. A larger heated towel rail would have been useful in the bathroom so that all three bath towels could dry at the same time.
