Dream location short break

Upon arrival at Sea Foam House. Myself and friends were blown away by the location. On entering the cottage the same feelings. It was spacious clean and welcoming. There was plenty of rooms and plenty of space. It had a homely feeling and all needs catered for, from adults, children and our pet dog. The views were stunning and our stay absolutely wonderful. We are discussing coming again. We were are rather sad to leave. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Sea Foam House

We stayed at Sea Foam for New year 2014, with the children, and we had such a good time, we booked for a short weekend break in March 2014, on our own. It has an excellent location, and facilities at the house made it feel home from home. We have a small dog and its perfect, in every way. Hope to be going back soon. Sally and Anthony Brooks

Sea Foam House

This is a fabulous property overlooking the harbour. It has excellent facilities and was just right for our family of young women and older couples. We came because we were attending a wedding at Tunnel Beaches and the property gave us plenty of room to hang dresses and prepare ourselves with no hassle in bathrooms etc. My young grandson (aged 3) came to visit the pink house and also loved it. He was fascinated by the fish chime in the kitchen. We read the visitors book and it would seem that whatever time of year people visit, they have a brilliant time. Thank you for making a possible stressful time, relaxing and enjoyable.

Sea Foam House set right on Ilfracombe harbour is the perfect location for a romantic weekend or family holiday. The owners have provided everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The only down side is you won't want to go home!

Sea Foam House

We stayed in Sea Foam House at the end of June and had the most fabulous week. The location is amazing, overlooking the harbour, close to the best of the restaurants and shops and the tide provided an ever-changing view. The house itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped with all the essentials needed and brilliantly appointed. We stayed with our dog and it was perfect for dog owners. The terrace outside was completely enclosed and the sea wall high enough for him to stand on his hind legs and watch the comings and goings on the beach. When the tide was out, it revealed a small but perfectly sized beach for dog walking and paddling and you could even walk across the sand and out to the sea, past the harbour wall and see the Damien Hirst statue and rocks for exploring, from a completely different angle. Obviously good weather always makes a huge difference, but staying when the weather is fine means you can use the terrace and take in the views, which is the house's biggest draw. We loved it, we didn't want to leave and we will most definitely be returning, maybe this time with friends.

Sea Foam House

Stayed at Sea Foam house with family in may and cannot fault this property. The location was amazing. Watching the harbour come to life each morning and the sound of the waves lapping against the garden wall. The house has everything you could want for a relaxing break. Every member of the family loved this place.

Beautiful Sea Foam House!

We arrived at beautiful Sea Foam House and were awestruck by the gorgeous view of the harbour. The house was beautifully presented and very clean. As we were so lucky with the weather, we spent most of our time out on the pretty decking admiring Ilfracombe. I would absolutely love to come back to Sea Foam House!! Thank you for making our holiday so special!

Sea foam house, ilfracombe

The cottage was in a prime location on the harbour front. The interior was furnished to a high standard and very clean. Nice touches were the flowers and the bottle of prosecco. The nautical theme was carried through the whole cottage also the outside space was excellent sitting on the raised decking enjoying a glass or two of wine was one of the highlights of the holiday.

Searching for the best at Christmas as a special time!

I had some very specific holiday requirements - a fantastic Christmas and New Year holiday for my Australian family - my girls one 18 and one 21 with her boyfriend; in Ilfracombe to be with their relatives and close friends, young and old (needed a downstairs toilet – yes, provided) who live in Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Bristol and Manchester. A place to call home and a home where we could make everyone absolutely welcome and entertain and accommodate while we were together. As we live so far away in Australia this was very important for us to achieve! Sea Foam House gave us this many times over! We arrived on 22 December to a home that was decorated in a most lovely way for Christmas with a table of seasonal treats for us to enjoy! We entertained and made welcome all of our family and friends over the 2 weeks - from Christmas Day to post New Year’s celebrations. Everyone who came loved the karma and ambiance of this lovely home …. especially the locals! We could entertain everyone so well due to the facilities and character of Sea Foam House! We also loved, watching the many dogs on the Quay beach for their daily walks each morning! We had lots of laughs as pet owners ourselves seeing so much dog fun! (No so in Australia, dogs are kept out of places!). Of course it was also hearing and watching the tides come in and out! The lights of Ilfracombe and the people, the clanging of the boat elements through the night and of course meeting our family and close friends that made this the most fantastic holiday that we could have imagined! Thank you Dawn so much for a wonderful holiday home! Best Regards and wishes from Jane, Jasmine and Bec Howard and John Gleeson from Sydney Australia! xxxx
