The Ilfracombe coastal walk is 7.5 miles long and should take between 3 to 4 hours to complete. This is a circular route and starts and finishes at Granville Road. The terrain is fairly easy and there are ample facilities and places for refreshment along the trail.
Head west from the cliff road and look for the National Trust Acorn signposts. Some points of interest along the walk include views of Mundy Island from The Torrs. Also, horizontal grooves carved into stone early in the walk once helped horses to grip as they pulled carts uphill, so keep your eyes peeled.
