Just along the coast from Clovelly lies Bucks Mill Beach. Bucks Mill Beach is the quieter Clovelly beach as it’s quite rocky, but it’s fantastic for admiring the views of Bideford Bay, and on a clear day you can even see Lundy Island.
The beach is also a popular one with fishermen and anglers, and the secluded feel of the cove adds to its charm. A steep path leads down to the beach so access can be limited. The nearby village of Bucks Mills has an intriguing history and its two former lime kilns can still be seen.
