Blessed with glorious weather, which only added to the spectacular views

Blessed with glorious weather, which only added to the spectacular views. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves as the many passing walkers kept moving. Great food at The Cricket Inn and the lighthouse is a must. All in all a very relaxing holiday in a comfortable and well maintained apartment.

We came in amazing weather and it stayed with us most of the week allowing us to enjoy the beautiful South Hams.

We came in amazing weather and it stayed with us most of the week allowing us to enjoy the beautiful South Hams. We are familiar to this area so we spent plenty of time just enjoying the location. The apartment was great, really clean (when we arrived!) and full of lovely things. Kitchen is very well equipped (thank you as loved cooking with British produce again). We could have done with more towels as we stayed for a week but we made do. Wi-Fi is superb especially as we had our 12 and 13 year old girls with us! We leave in the rain but that is ok as we have had an awesome time, thank you.

Lovely sunny weather. Enjoyed the terraces with breakfast outside, reading and sun on the back terrace.

Lovely sunny weather. Enjoyed the terraces with breakfast outside, reading and sun on the back terrace. Superb places to visit, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, interesting though can get crowded. You have to get used to narrow lanes, passing places can be far and few between. Prospect house is ideally situated. It like being on a liner! We miss wardrobe and cupboards space and the bedrooms are very small and cramped but it is good to be tidy!! Beesands is a little gem, ‘The Cricket’ has good reviews and an excellent menu. The light house looks very romantic lit up at night!

We have just had a wonderful 4 days at no.2 Prospect House.

We have just had a wonderful 4 days at no.2 Prospect House. The apartment really exceeded our expectations and more! Waking up in the morning with the sea on one side and the Rolling Meadows on the other was absolute relaxation. We loved all the little touches in the apartment and my 5 yr old daughter wants to live here forever, I must admit I really do not want to leave myself! We tried to explore as many places as possible; Blackpool beach is local and well equipped with toilets, cafe and shops. Kingsbridge and Dartmouth are worth a visit. We found Plymouth too populated and townie for classic Devon but Torquay was quintessential seaside which was great fun! We also managed a trip to Cornwall (Fowey) about a 1.5 hour drive but well worth it. Our daughter loved the tennis and the pool but our highlight of this trip was right on the doorstop. The coastal walk to the lighthouse was absolutely breathtaking and a memory that will stay with us a long time. We shall be back-what a great holiday!

We have had the most relaxing time here – the weather was mixed at first but then just got better and better!

We have had the most relaxing time here – the weather was mixed at first but then just got better and better! Views are amazing. Have sampled the delights of the sea, John Dory – Turbot and crab. We have never ever stayed somewhere so quiet, just what we needed, thank you.

We have all had a lovely time here, spending time collecting shells and stones.

We have all had a lovely time here, spending time collecting shells and stones. Waking up to the amazing view is really special and something you cannot tire of! Would highly recommend a trip to Britannia @ the beach for fresh fish! Thank you.
