Description

1 Garden Apartment is located in the Prospect House development, which holds a stunning position perched on a cliff top above Start Bay. It is within a few minutes’ walk of Hallsands Beach. The Prospect House Estate is an award winning New England style development completed in 2008.

Internally, 1 Garden Apartment is modern and offers white oak flooring in the bright open plan living, kitchen and dining area.  The property has underfloor gas central heating in the living areas and the bedrooms. The property offers country views as well as views of the swimming pool (available between May and September) and gardens. Externally, the secure furnished patio and gravel garden is ideal for al fresco dining, with planted lavender, olive trees and other coastal plants.

Prospect House has a sheltered communal garden to the rear, a heated outdoor pool area and a full-size tennis court. There is also has a large communal garden at the front of the building with a dining area and benches overlooking the whole bay. Prospect House sits directly by the South West Coast Path which leads to the unspoilt beach of Hallsands. Further along the path is the village of Beesands with an excellent local Inn and a Shellfish beach bar, both of which offer fantastic food. Prospect House to Beesands is approximately a 20 minute walk or a ten minute drive.

There are many towns and villages to explore in the area. These include the market town of Kingsbridge and the picturesque town of Salcombe, which offers many water-based activities and beaches to enjoy. Torcross and Slapton are approximately four miles away and the spectacular coastal road leads on to the town of Dartmouth. In Dartmouth you will find a great selection of boutiques, cafes and high quality restaurants offering the catch of the day.

Great Easter break

Had a wonderful 5 days staying in south hams. Location pretty rural, beautiful coastal paths to walk to the nearest pub and restaurant. Beesands has a lovely little fish restaurant on the beach front which is a must if visiting the area. Apartment first class, beautiful interiors perfect home from home!

Had a wonderful 5 days staying in South Hams. Location pretty rural, beautiful coastal paths to walk to the nearest pub and restaurant. Beesands has a lovely little fish restaurant on the beach front which is a must if visiting the area. Apartment first class, beautiful interiors perfect home from home!

VALUE FOR MONEY

Excellent setting of a clean, well-furnished apartment. Just right for two people. Easy for short walks, although saw a few long ones in the distance. A spot where you can get totally lost and away from busy-ness.

Excellent apartment

Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at 1 Garden Apartment, stylish interior, comfortable beds and amazing location! Coastal scenery is stunning. A fantastic place to stay, peaceful and right on the SW Coastal path -excellent! Would happily return.
