Description

Kingfisher Lodge at South View Lodges is set within six acres of landscaped woodland and lakes, yet only a few miles away from the city of Exeter. The lodges provide the perfect location for spending time away exploring one of the most beautiful areas in Devon.

Internally, Kingfisher Lodge is beautifully furnished and comfortable featuring superb soft furnishings, a luxury fitted kitchen and a log burning stove. There is certainly a homely feel with lots of personal touches making for a relaxing stay. Externally, the private covered balcony features a table and chairs as well as a private outdoor hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the Devon countryside.

The lodges are located on the edge of three beautiful fishing lakes so would be ideal for keen or beginner anglers (a small charge will apply). The lakes are surrounded by a variety of established trees and vegetation, creating a haven for many species of plants, birds and wildlife and offering a delightful place to relax. There are plenty of opportunities in the surrounding area whether it’s walking, cycling, rambling, golf, horse-riding and sight-seeing. Or if you prefer, just kick back and enjoy the scenery.

The beautiful city of Exeter is located just a few miles away and provides excellent social and cultural facilities including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. For visitors in search of some retail therapy then Exeter is the place to be, with a great mix of high street and independent shops. Whilst there, pay a visit to the impressive Exeter Cathedral or stroll along the picturesque quay, home to an array of antique shops and waterside cafes.
