The Old Workshops - Warm and Friendly Welcome

We were greeted with a warm welcoming smile by Jonathan, Lemon Cake and Easter eggs. Our boys made themselves at home and settled in the lovely accommodation - Bright and airy converted stables, spotlessly clean with full facilities. We had lots of room and our boys settled in quickly. We will definitely be coming back here again.

The property is spotless and very comfortable just as it appears in the photos. Set in a very quiet and peaceful spot. Not much of an outlook but ideal for a cosy winter break when the nights are dark and long. Comfy beds and snug bedding make for a good nights sleep.

Hidcot at the Old Workshop - Farringdon

The accommodation was perfect for our needs - two friends / colleagues staying local to the training venue for our work. The welcome was great - the owners sorted out a minor problem which arose on the first evening. They were attentive without being in any way intrusive. I would recommend this holiday accommodation very highly to anyone wanting to stay near Exeter and explore Exmouth and the surrounding area.

Wonderful cottage- classy and comfortable

We had a fantastic working holiday with our children . The cottage is immaculate and fully equipped with every home comfort and beyond. The children were thrilled with the option of 3 D television and enjoyed the variety of games on offer. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom modern and spacious. The wood burning stove was a sensation and we told ghost stories with only it's glow for lighting on a memorable Halloween night. Very highly recommended. Jonathan, our landlord was charming and helpful in equal measure and we were given a great welcome. Gorgeous place to stay in a gorgeous part of the U.K. Local farm shop was superb, complete with live lobsters, ostrich and show stopping fresh fish and chips.

Great accommodation for people with accessibility issues

I spent hours searching for a property that could accommodated my elderly relatives and this was perfect. Walk in shower, single story property. The accommodation was of such a high standard it surprised all of us. It's also very near Exeter, Exeter airport and some great vacation spots are just a short drive away. the owners live onsite and we're just lovely. We even got some home grown pears! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Workshops. It's definitely raised the bar on standards.
