Dawlish Warren is a small seaside resort near Dawlish which offers a Blue Flag Beach as well as the renowned sand spit which is home to Dawlish Warren Golf Course and Nature Reserve.

Dawlish is a charming coastal town situated on the beautiful south coast of Devon. The town is heavily influenced by the Georgian and Victorian periods and there is a delightful park and brook running through the centre of town. Here you will find rare black swans and other wildlife.

The town’s railway station is nearby, offering good public transport links.The railway lines presence along the seafront make Dawlish a popular choice for train spotters and photographers hoping to catch a glimpse of the waves crashing over the exposed coastal route. The sandy beach at Dawlish is set beside this historic railway.

Lovely comfortable & modern appartments

We stayed at Redrock for 10 nights at end of Aug 2016. We booked 2 adjacent 3 bed apartments for 6 adults & 5 children. We were on holiday for the week & had a family wedding at the end of the week. We were really impressed with the spacious living/ dining kitchen area & that the 3 bedrooms were sizeable, plenty of storage & beds comfortable with quality bed linen. Nice quiet location with good walks & nearby entertainment & variety eating out options. We had a great holiday - kids loved going to the beach & amusements & adults liked that we were in very nice quiet accommodation, a bit away from main holiday sites. Would have benefitted from an extra loo with 6 of us in the apartment - but we managed. Would certainly recommend - lovely easy walk to Dawlish & Dawlish Nature reserve
