Solstice

Our 7th Stay in Dartmouth, but this home beats all the rest. We would definitely book for here again. Everything has been perfect for the seven of us. Thank you very much for our stay.

Fantastic house. The view was fab. We moved one of the sofas to the windows so that we could enjoy it in the morning and evening. Loved it so much! Hopefully see you again soon.

Solstice

We really enjoyed our holiday in Dartmouth. The house SOLSTICE was everything and more that we wanted. The view from the lounge and master bedroom was absolutely fantastic. The house was lovely and warm with a well equipped kitchen. It was about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and harbour. Even in January the bus service to the surrounding towns was good. And there were plenty of nice places to have a cup of coffee and eating out. We will be back......

Solstice

Our third visit to your lovely home and we have enjoyed every minute. Views are stunning, lots to do and a much needed relaxing break for all of us after a very stressful year. We really don't want to go home. Hope to return again. Many thanks and kind regards.

"The Gang"

Really great time for a special weekend. Had trouble working out central heating, and with it being a large house we had to play it by ear, but a lovely gas fire helped with it being a very cold weekend. The grandchildren loved the window seat in the main bedroom and the automatic blinds!!! Everybody loved the view from the lounge.

Family celebration

Our family got together to celebrate our younger son's special Birthday. We had an excellent week, the house had everything we could have asked for and everyone said they thorough enjoyed their week in Dartmouth. Even the weather was great which was a bonus. We would recommend Solstice as a property for a large family gathering, and if we can manage to get the whole family together again (seven plus baby) we will be back. Dursley family Bristol.

Stunning view.......

We have stayed at solstice previously and once again it did not disappoint. The view from the 1st floor bay window is stunning. As is the view from the bedrooms on the next two floors. There was tea/coffee/sugar/milk/biscuits and a bottle of prosecco waiting for us on arrival, which was much appreciated after such a long journey! The house is conveniently situated near shops/restaurants and pubs. It also has a garage which takes away the stress of finding a parking space! I highly recommend the jubilee pass which can be purchased from the Dartmouth steam railway which allows travel on the passenger ferry/steam train/round robin and their numerous cruises for up to five days, it's excellent value for money! if your thinking about booking this property, do it, you will not be disappointed.

Solstice

I fell in love with this property on the website, but it is even better than described. Fantastic house with the most amazing views, close enough to amenities, didn't use the car once. Back for 40th wedding anniversary!

Views of a lifetime

This was a clean comfortable holiday home, well located in Dartmouth, but those advantages paled in comparison with the view from the sitting room window. No matter what the weather, it provided hours of pleasure watching the life on the river and waiting for the steam to rise as the train left Kingswear station with a cheery whistle. No wonder others go back time and time again.

A second pleasurable week. We very need little the accommodation and the view. Also visited Greenway House, interesting and worthwhile, and easily reachable on a walk. The coast walking was great.

Solstice

Wonderful house for our family from Australia to have for our daughter's wedding here in Dartmouth on Saturday 14th September. The views were spectacular for the photos and the town itself so welcoming to all the Australians who came to celebrate their wedding. The sun shine down on us and it was a perfect day with this house as the perfect backdrop for our first photos.

Outstanding Weekend in Dartmouth

Four couples met together at Soltice for a 50 Year Reunion gathering. The sleeping arrangements were great for the group with a bathroom for each bedroom. Everyone was thrilled with the place and the view is to "die for". Impeccably clean and all of the equipment that you could ask for. We would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home.

Solstice weekend

Solstice was a brilliant venue for our family gathering and was much enjoyed by grandparents, parents and teenagers alike! Lovely weather helped but it was good to be so near the town centre and car parking was not a problem at this time of year. Wi-Fi availability was a plus and TV in bedrooms was good. Only having one set of keys for 8 people was difficult and with the 2 door entry system we managed to lock ourselves out. The staff were helpful in unlocking the door (cost £20.00) but it might be helpful to have another set of keys or a written reminder to save this happening in future. All in all, a great success and I am sure we will be back again.
