Why see just one stunning beach in a day when a Saunton walk can take in two? The 3-mile walk between Croyde and Saunton offers fantastic views, especially over Croyde Bay.

The walk starts in the centre of Croyde Village and finishes in Saunton, passing Saunton Court. For the most part the walk is easygoing, but there is a fairly steep climb at the start as you leave Croyde – however the views are well worth it!

The 3 mile walk from Croyde to Saunton is a lovely way to discover the nearby town and its famous golden sands. This country walk is well sign- posted and crosses open pastures and sloping fields from the centre of Croyde village to Saunton.

Although there are one or two fairly steep climbs in this Croyde walk it offers some fantastic views over Croyde Bay, perfect for getting that unforgettable holiday photograph. One of the best advantages of tackling this walk is that it passes some of the area’s most popular inns on the way – look out for The Manor and The Thatch.
