Perched high on a cliff overlooking Brixham beauty spot Fishcombe Cove, The Cove is a beautiful coastal collection of two bedroom properties. All of the properties at The Cove have been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the unique setting, and each one has its own private balcony.
Slide open the door and step outside to spend a moment in the sea breeze, or while away a sunny afternoon in your own secluded sun trap high above the clear water below. Follow the South West Coast Path from the property for five minutes and you’ll find yourself at Fishcombe Cove, one of those quiet sandy coves that make South Devon so special.
Picture this, a sunny day, panoramic views out to sea and a heated swimming pool just waiting for you to take the plunge. The Cove has an outdoor swimming pool that makes the perfect way to relax and enjoy the collection’s coastal setting.
So, whether you enjoy a few lengths of a morning to get ready for your day or you look forward to a refreshing dip after a busy day wandering the nearby South West Coast Path, the pool’s just another way to make the most of some time out in a spectacular setting during your stay.
With a setting right beside one of the South West Coast Path’s most scenic stretches, The Cove makes the perfect base for walkers keen to take in some of the coastal scenery that makes South Devon so popular.
Start with a stroll down to the shore at Fishcombe Cove, and if you wander on for another five minutes you’ll reach the next sandy beauty spot along, Churston Cove. The Cove backs onto woodland owned by the National Trust, so it’s a great base for those of you who like to stroll and take in the views or the dedicated walkers amongst you.
There’s only one thing that beats sweeping sea views from the top of a cliff, and that’s taking them in with a barbeque. That’s right, they’ve thought of everything at The Cove, so there’s a dedicated area especially for barbeques at the top of the cliffs.
With views across the bay to Torquay in one direction and of the Brixham scenery in the other, we couldn’t think of a better spot to spend an hour or two cooking up a storm and dining al fresco on a sunny day in South Devon. Just make sure you don’t forget the ketchup.
With a setting overlooking some of Devon’s most picturesque coves, we know that you’ll take any opportunity to enjoy as much time as you can outside during your stay at The Cove, so you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s a Petanque Terrain on the site.
That means you need to gather the rest of your party and test their skills at boules at least once while you’re there, and the game feels all the more fun for The Cove’s special setting right on the coast.
