Seahaven or was it Sea Heaven

Just had a week at Seahaven with my wife, son, his partner and my dog. We found the area to be really dog friendly. We ate in some really nice restaurants who readily accepted dogs, the best being The Lusty Wench. The accommodation was ideal for people with dogs. The back garden must be 90 foot x 80 foot and is 100% secure providing your dog can't jump a 7ft wall. We had excellent weather that made it a great week for us. We had some great BBQs in the garden and made good use of the table and six chairs available for guest use. The BBQ was housed in the garage and was very efficient. All you are asked to do is put it away clean after use. Ample room in the two bedrooms for your weeks holiday. The over bath shower was very good plenty of power and as hot as you would ever want it. Dining area was fine on the one night we did eat in, the kitchen facilities where okay and we had some fish that we caught that day fishing on charter boat Spot On, superb skipper. My wife could not find anything to moan about, now that is special...lol.. Parking area is superb, we had two cars parked in the drive and you could have fitted another plus one in the garage. We used the garage and stored several thousands of pounds worth of fishing tackle with no fear of it going missing, garage very secure. Garden could be maintained to a higher standard. Location was superb. We found a pub about a ten minute walk away, plus a Cost Cutter store, a newsagents and a couple of other shops. Meal prices in the pub was very good. The pork loin chops superb as was the belly pork. Bonus was it was mainly flat walking getting to the pub. Another big plus with the location was you are within 700 yards of the nearest cove, it is just at the end of the road by the dog friendly park. There is a resident seal that turns up and wants to play with you. So if you're having a swim and you feel a tug on your shoe look for a seal and not a mermaid. You're about a mile from town and if you're not a fit person or have walking problems then drive down, use the ample car parking space only 3/4 mile from the villa and just to the rear of the fish market in the town. The hills are very steep but it is a lovely walk if you can do it. Finally would I recommend it? What do you think? My wife said "she wished we had booked the fortnight" so do I. Yes highly recommend this holiday let. Not sure it rates 4 star but with a hot tub in the garden this would make our ideal holiday let. I would then give it 11 out of ten instead of 10 out of ten.

Our hOliday with blue chip

Everything went well the caretaker met us with a bottle of wine And showed us around, the garden was very secure for our 2 also paso dogs though the grass was as high has them this made picking up poops difficult, but was soon rectiified when care taker came and mowed the lawn, the walks in the area were breathtaking I found muscles I forgot I had, I think the dogs legs were an inch shorter on return home. Overall it wAs like home from home, we would like to book again for next year with a 10 present discount as offered by blue chip in an email thank you blue chip it was brilliant.

Perfect bungalow in the perfect location. We have been blessed with 2 weeks solid sunshine. Knowing Ernie was "on call" was reassuring (not that we needed him!). We will be back!

Seahaven

Lovely holiday home, very comfortable and clean. The secure garden was ideal for my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren to burn off their last bit of energy before bedtime. This bungalow was well situated for all activities and explorations with Fishcombe beach being just down the road. Would come again with hubby and dog next time.

Seahaven

Had a fantastic stay here at Seahaven! Had everything we needed, the playstation was a good surprise for my sister and I (aged 16 and 19). We had many coastal walked as a family and with Pixie the dog. The bungalow itself is very comfortable, and the huge garden was a hit with Pixie! We have been to Brixham over 10 times as a family and still have a fantastic holiday each time. It is a beautiful town, with friendly people and a great selection of place to go. Thank you for having us! Milk and wine on arrival were very appreciated, thank you Ernie!
