A great cottage

This was our third year staying at Landfall - it is an excellently maintained cottage with great facilities. It is also in a very good location in Brixham, easy walking distance to the cove and harbour and a short drive to the beach.

Lovely spacious bungalow.

We stayed at Landfall with 17mth old twins and a 3.5 year old. The property was very well laid out, spacious and very comfortable for us. It was clean and very nicely decorated. There were lots of extra touches which showed a lot of thought, and things we really appreciated. Bins in every room, lots of crockery and cutlery, a high chair (and travel cot, but we didn't use this), large mirrors in every bedroom room, hand soap at every sink/basin, toilet rolls, several Tupperware boxes (useful for those picnics and days out for snacks for the little ones) and a good sized airer for all the washing we need to do! We were also left with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, biscuits ... and a bottle of wine in the fridge! Beds all comfy, plenty of towels and the linen was all clean. The wrap around garden was nice, but not the best time of year for us to use it. There was a long drive at the side of the house, but it was very tight for our large car! The location is good, but can be a problem with a double buggy to push up and down all the hills and a few of the roads don't have pavements, so we ended up driving down into town which was very quick and easy enough. Thank you to the owners and management company for a lovely stay, and if we ever go back to the area we would definitely stay here again. Mr and Mrs Stringer, March 2014.

Landfall

Very clear website, easy to use and accurate, we spent a lovely week in Brixham, bungalow lovely, clean and well equipped, close to town and to little coves which we could walk to. Garden also very pleasant and safe for our little 18 month old.

Landfall

We booked on line with Blue Chip for the first time, it's easy and straight forward with excellent communications. Landfall was a credit to the owner, it's absolutely first class on all levels, exceptionally well presented in a lovely quiet position to explore Brixham. Thank you, L Smith.

Landfall

We had a lovely holiday here at Landfall. The bungalow was lovely and clean with all mod cons. My husband loved the shower!! Within walking distance to town centre although walking back is quite a steep uphill walk. Someone did tell us there was an easier way but we never found it. You could always get a bus back!! Jackie Wilson, the property manager was very friendly and helpful. The pub just up the road, The Trawler, was very welcoming and we certainly didn't feel like outsiders. The food there is lovely too. Curry night on Tuesday (lovely). All in all we had a lovely time, went to lots of different places and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Home from Home

Just returned from a 5 night stay in Landfall. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! Very spacious property with great facilities. Furnishings are to a very high standard and the beds are super comfortable. Brixham is just a 15 minute walk away, bus stop right outside the house, if you prefer. House is in a quiet residential area but does have a local shop, hairdresser and pub within 5 minutes walk. All in all a perfect place for a break, both for adults and families alike.

Great for:

Landfall excellent holiday base.

Very bright and clean property. Equipped to a very good standard which really added to our holiday experience. Located within a 10 to 15 minute walk from harbour. The property itself is located in a quiet residential area so it doesn't have any dramatic views, however as this was the only negative comment I can make, I would definitely be happy to stay here again in the future. Overall a great bungalow - highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation-fab holiday

We stayed at Landfall in May 2016. I would highly recommend this property-it's very spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable and very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again. The furnishings and lighting have been well thought through and most things are provided (eg washing up liquid, 4 dishwasher tablets, towels, tea towels, pump hand soap for all three sinks, an airer, pegs etc). There is also a generous amount of crockery and cutlery. The walk to brixham via battery gardens is lovely and makes the cottage a great location. The main downside of the property is the driveway which is not wide enough to enter without risking damaging the car. We used it once and parked in the road after that.
