Description

Harbour Breeze is a characterful cottage set in the heart of Brixham. It has a modern kitchen with open plan living spaces offering stunning views of Brixham Harbour. The property benefits from French doors leading to a small furnished balcony with uninterrupted views of Brixham.

The cottage is perfectly located just a short walk away from the town centre and attractive harbour. Brixham is a traditional fishing port with plenty of quaint streets and narrow lanes to explore. Rapidly embracing the cafe culture, you will find many places to sit and enjoy the harbour views and relax into a slower pace of life. Being a fishing port, many of the town's restaurants specialise in fresh fish and you can regularly find the 'catch of the day' being served.

Brixham is fast becoming one of the South West’s upmarket resorts. Just walk along the harbour and see all the people sitting outside dining while watching the boats on the water. Early risers will be able to watch the trawlers land in the mornings. Sea cruises round Torbay and Dartmouth are also popular, as is taking a walk across the cliffs at Berry Head or hunting for fossils at St Mary’s Bay – the list of activities is endless!

Super for Six In Brixham

We (six adults) spent Easter 2014 in Harbour Breeze. It is a lovely, comfortable, nicely decorated and spotless house for six people. Great views over Brixham and up to Torquay. The location is excellent...just 3 minutes to the harbour but a very steep hill for coming back !! Milk, eggs and bread were left for us...a nice touch. Overall a super experience. I would recommend it.

Harbour Breeze

I stayed in this cottage with my wife and 3 grown up kids. The view from the cottage over Brixham is fantastic - a delight to wake up to each morning. The cottage was clean and well maintained. It was a nice touch having Blue Chip holidays leaving us on arrival milk, eggs, etc. The walk to Brixham was just a few hundred yards (yes a steep hill) but it's basically like having a pad in Brixham so you go out, drink, eat and come home again. Well good fun. You can park near the cottage for free so don't purchase a weekly pass like I did (ho-hum). It was a bit cold when I went (weather not the cottage) but on a hot day sitting on the balcony in this place with a beer and the view would be great.

A lovely comfortable property, with great views!

We booked Blue Horizon for a mixture of family break and meeting up with friends. We were delighted to find we had, unwittingly, booked to be in Brixham for Brixfest; not only that but with this property we had ringside seats for many activities, in particular what were widely agreed to be the best ever Brixfest fireworks! Great views from the balcony made it a pleasure to wake up each day and a comfortable living space made it a pleasure to return home and chill out in the evening. There were some small enhancements that could have improved the amenities but the hosts has even asked for suggestions so we felt able to feedback positively and constructively. We hope to return!

Couldnt have been more perfect

We are a family of 5 with 3 sons aged 10,13,and 15. The facilities were great and the multi floor accommodation was a bonus. The views are totally beautiful, we overlooked thhe harbour and it was idyllic watching sunrise, sunet, fishing boats and the nighttime lights over the bay. We attempted to go crabbing which my children loved! Lost a line and a bucket but gained some fantastic memories. Highly recommended and would visit again!

Harbour Breeze, Brixham

Lovely location, great views of the harbour great central base for exploring Torbay, coming back next year but avoiding the climb back up to the excellent accomodation. Minor problem with parking.
